Personalized Photography Workshops

Hands-on guidance and practice to elevate your photography

Love Your Camera began as a free webinar, born out of a desire to engage, connect and share my passion with others during COVID-19.  I’m thrilled to relaunch ‘Love Your Camera‘ as a 3-5 hour workshop to help kickstart your photography journey.

Heart Series

This is just the beginning of your photography journey.  My hope is to light a fire and ignite your passion to learn more.  Photography does not have to be complicated.  Once you understand the foundations of the art itself and how to take control of your camera, the sky really is the limit.

Each hands on workshop experience will empower you to:

  • Learn the key principles of what makes an amazing photograph

  • Explore the fundamentals of light and composition

  • Understand the relationship between aperture, shutter speed and ISO

  • Select your fave shooting mode (it’s not AUTO)

  • Locate must know camera modes and functions

  • Find perfect focus in all situations

  • Discover exposure compensation and change how you see light

  • Identify the perfect lens selection and uses

  • Create depth of field and bokeh (blurry) background

  • Capture, freeze and slow motion in all its forms

Essence Series

Ready to take your photography to the next level?  If you’re actively shooting in either Manual or Aperture Priority with a reasonable grasp of the relationship between aperture, shutter speed and ISO (Exposure Triangle), it’s time to level up your photography.

Whether you’re relatively new to photography or more advanced, each workshop is designed to enhance your creative nature behind your camera.

Workshops are designed to cater to and enhance each individual’s knowledge and experience while exploring genres and themes of photography such as:

  • People and Pets

  • Landscape and Nature

  • Abstract and Impressionist

  • Flora and Fauna

  • Motion and Movement

  • Travel
